Spring is here! Which means it is time to take care of a few things on our must-do spring checklist!
My Spring Checklist
1. Closet Clean Out
Out with the old, in with the new! Set aside a few hours to go through your closet and purge! Nothing feels better than cleaning out items you no longer wear and donating them to those in need. If there are a few items you’d like to sell, I suggest Poshmark. It is really simple to list items straight from your phone and the extra money you make can go into a vacation fund! I’ll be writing about my own closet clean out with organization tips next month. Until then, you can check out my Pinterest Organization Board for tips and tricks. I also suggest putting away fall and winter items you won’t be wearing for a few months. This can help make things less cluttered in your closet.
2. Home Decor revamp:
Pull out your duster (or higher a cleaning service) to really get down and clean. After that, add a bit of spring to your home decor. I like to throw a few a few pops of pink here and there with bouquets of fresh flowers. I switch out heavy winter blankets for lighter spring colored ones. 3. Get Outside & Explore!
We’ve been cooped up inside for far too long. Get outside and go explore! Just a few minutes of sunshine can do wonders to clear your mind and give you a positive outlook. I like to take a walk every now and then, admire mother nature and take a deep breath. It is also a great time to explore new restaurants and places with friends. I just went to The Ponte last Sunday with girlfriends and loved it! Not only was the courtyard beautiful, but the food was incredible! Definitely, recommend the pasta al Pomodoro and the avocado toast. ( I know- so LA.)
