I just happened to have this gorgeous cream coat show up in my inbox and before I knew it, I was adding all of these items to my cart on The Outnet. The fabrics are all luxurious and the fit of these pieces looks like you won’t even need to take anything to the tailor! My style this fall is going to be all about classy, elegant, and sophisticated with more emphasis put on the clothes than the accessories. I want the entire look to blend together.
It is still September, but I don’t care. I skipped over the fall decorating this year and went straight to Halloween home decor! Mainly because as a blogger need to decorate, photographer, edit, post/publish weeks before anyone else is shopping for home decor. And I wanted to grab all the best decor before it sold out in stores! I’ve found a TON of great items at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Michael’s, and even some local thrift shops.

These days our culture seems to be inundated with all kinds of non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Thanks to the Kardashians and other celebrities, these kinds of procedures have become, somewhat, dare I say- normal?
Yet, a part of me, like so many other women, I am sure, hesitate to share with the world that they’ve ever had anything cosmetically done to themselves to enhance their physical appearance. Especially something like lip fillers or neurotoxins that paralyze muscles to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. I wrote about my experience with Botox in this post here. I find this hesitation amusing since other physical enhancements, such as dying our hair to look younger or getting braces to straighten our naturally crooked teeth, are all considered normal practices these days. Injections are not there yet, but I am sure one day they will be.View Post
It is September and Starbucks has released its favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. Stores are shoving leather jackets in our faces and pumpkin patches are going to be opening in just a few short weeks. Yet… you can’t wrap your head around sweaters and tall boots just yet when it is still hot as heck outside. You are not alone.

One of my favorite features of this house is that when you walk through the front door, immediately you enter a welcoming, sun-filled sitting room. Puppy included. This room holds so many treasures that I have collected over the years from traveling, family members and countless hunts at Home Goods.

Lately, I find myself reminiscing through old travel photos wishing I could transport both my mind and my body back to those places and times when life was much more simple. One of the places I think about the most is my trip to the Montage Palmetto Bluff last springView Post
