Beyoncé Vodka Cocktail Recipe

The best and easiest vodka cocktail recipe you’ll ever taste. It is appropriately called the ‘Beyoncé’ as a tribute to one of my favorite singer’s creative lyrics in her song ‘Drunk in Love’ and her album ‘Lemonade.’

My roommate came up with this cocktail upon receiving a sample of the SKYY Infusions Sun-Ripened Watermelon Vodka and only having lemonade as a mixer. I had sworn off flavored vodka’s after college (I am sure you can take a guess as to why.) But after trying this cocktail I once again became a believer. It’s super delicious, not too sweet, easy to make (two ingredients) and easy to make as strong (or as weak) as you’d like! Plus, it gave me the perfect excuse to use my new West Elm cocktail glasses and deco bar toolkit that I picked up last month at the new Downtown LA store opening.

Recipe:

  • 1-ounce SKYY Infusions Sun-Ripened Watermelon Vodka
  • 2-ounces lemonade (I love Trader Joe’s Lemonade)
  • Mix in a cocktail shaker like this one with ice and strain

Yes, I know, it is that simple! I added a sliced lemon as a garnish. You can also use watermelon or both! Try it for yourself and let me know what you think.  As always, thank you for stopping by. You can see more of my entertaining guides here including a super easy how-to charcuterie board guide!
