Winter Cape by Los Angeles Fashion Blogger Laura Lily,

I have an affinity for capes so you can call me the caped crusader. This outfit is a combination of so many things I love: capes, bell sleeves like I talked about in Monday’s post here, thigh-high boots, beautiful necklaces and brooches.  I thought about making this cape a DIY project and adding feathers like I did to this blazer year’s ago. Then I thought about bedazzling it with beads like I did to this clutch.  Since I could never decide which DIY I wanted to do, I just left it as is and now decorate it with my beloved brooches.

P.S. If you want a little Chanel in your life, I recommend saving up for a brooch. It’s not a cheap item ($400+) But if you really really want one, work for it.  You can add it on to so many things and everyone thinks the piece of clothing is indeed Chanel! Hats, bags, scarves, jewelry, etc. It’s an investment, but just sell a couple items like I do on Poshmark and you’ll have your brooch in no time!
