With Mother’s Day less than two weeks away, it is time to figure out what to get our moms this year. Luckily, my mom is not difficult to shop. She loves the same things I do: beautiful flowers, time spent together, and elegant jewelry. Each year I get her a beautiful bouquet, a hand made card, and take her out to one of her favorite restaurants. I also like to get her a little gift to open while we are out.
I remembered my mom liking a specific necklace I often wear. It is a simple sterling silver piece by jewelry designer Helen Ficalora. So when I saw the same necklace with a “MOM” pendant, I knew it would be the perfect gift for her.
Hopefully she does not read this blog post before Mother’s Day . It would be fun to actually surprise her with the gift. If she does read this, Mom- happy early Mother’s Day! LOL.
