Valentine’s Day Party Ideas
All it took was one trip into Home Goods to inspire today’s blog post…Valentine’s Day Party Ideas! Party themes are one of my favorite topics to create and write about for this blog. I realized I had never shared any Valentine’s Day decor here on the blog, because I never really have anything except a few pink pillows, so this year I decided to go all out and create a ton of amazing, easy to recreate Valentine’s Day Party Ideas!
Valentine’s Day is normally synonymous with the color red. This can get a bit cheesy if taken too far, in my opinion, so instead, I combined different shades pinks with rose gold tones and pops of red here and there. I picked up a good number of faux flower arrangements from Home Goods so they would last longer and save me money from having to replace the flowers now until Valentine’s Day.

Pink and champagne-colored dishes display all the yummy treats on the table. I love charcuterie boards (here is a blog post on how to great an easy cheese board in under 10 minutes and another more in-depth post on how to create a larger version.) For this Valentine’s Day theme, the treat boards will full of sweet treats including heart-shaped cookies, chocolates, frosted pretzels, popcorn and piroulines.

Found this four-tier serving tray at Home Goods. I decided to place extra glasses on the bottom tier. I also decorated the mini angel food cakes with strawberries in the center.
Pink heart-shaped balloons in a variety of colors from Party City.

Picked up these tin metal signs at the Dollar Tree for $1.
A fun trip for the fruit skewers: cut the watermelon with a heart cookie cutter! I did not have one at the time so carefully cutting each one with a small knife into the shape of a heart is also an option.
