Spring Home Decor Ideas
Pink has never been a favorite color of mine… that is until this year when I decided to go all out with a pink-themed living room for spring. The trick to not making it look over-the-top girly? Different shades of pink with a mixture of sophisticated elements including a custom gallery wall, gold leafed glass coffee table and a few beautiful house plants thrown into the mix.
The gallery wall is a collection of all my travels over the year’s that I created with Framebridge’s custom framing service which I wrote about in this post. Each time I look at any of these photos I’m brought back in time to that exact location and the feeling associated with that trip. They also make for great story starters for guests.
Flowers are always a great home decor item. Real flowers are always the best home accessory. However, since I’ve been constantly traveling and don’t like coming home to dead flowers that I barely got to enjoy, I’ve lately been into bouquets of faux flowers from Home Goods. Inexpensive and they’ll never wilt on you.
My living room and dining room share the same space. In fact, if you’re sitting on the couch you look directly into the dining room. See how I decorated my dining room to compliment the living room with my spring table setting here.
