Happy Skirt

It recently dawned on me that my work wardrobe is becoming increasingly black, black and more black.  Occasionally there is a black print in there somewhere. I felt the sudden urge for more color.  So I made it my mission to find a colored skirt and I happen to come along this charming little yellow a-line skirt. I’m down for yellow. It’s the color of smiley faces and happiness. Done and done. I think I’ll call it my happy skirt.  Funny story, I love the skirt so much I decided to get in every color it comes in. Surprise surprise, it also comes in black.

And as far as black print- I’ll forgo my rule of no more black if it involves the window pane print. When my love of mini and window pane combined into the beautiful thing that is this little handbag from Target I stood no chance of saying no. So there you have it, a happy skirt with the cutest list window pane bag you’ve ever seen.
