Do you ever feel like you are running 100 mph and all you want to do is sit down for a while? Lately, that’s how I feel. I told myself I would not let this year escape me the way 2015 did. Every day I feel like I am tightly gripping on to the day to not let it get away. Honestly, I feel like I could sleep 10 hours straight no problem. Usually, I get 7 hours and when I was younger that was a LOT of sleep. But maybe I just need 8 hours now? Some people find their “sweet number” meaning they know the number of hours they need to feel rested. 27 years later and I still have no idea.
It isn’t easy working a full-time job, keeping up with blog posts, trying to furnish a new home and tending to a social life. But I love it and I love always having something to work on. My goal is to post every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for you all. But honestly, sometimes I don’t make my own deadlines. I would rather not post anything than post just for the sake of posting. Everything I do for this blog, I do with TLC (tender-loving-care.) Now I am trying to figure out how to start including videos for my YouTube channel in the mix without giving up any more sleep!
So this weekend, a part from a photo shoot, coffee with a fellow blogger, and riding Zcinny, I am forcing myself to keep my Sunday all to myself to relax and unwind. That way I can go into the first week of February feeling refreshed and energized. Maybe I’ll take a stroll through Home Goods for a little retail therapy, too 😉
