With the change of seasons, not only do we get to swap out our wardrobes, but our hair accessories as well! I’m loving all of the current fall patterns and textures such as plaid, velvet, pearls and embellishments. I’ve partnered with France Luxe for today’s post to show you my favorites trendy fall hair accessories and how to wear them!
If you’re like me and are not a professional hair stylist, then creating a super fancy hairstyle just isn’t happening. However, below I am sharing a few super easy examples of how to dress up your hair with a few accessories.
Velvet is all the rage this season and it’s only going to become more popular as we get closer to the holidays! I loved the simplicity of this velvet ponytail holder, especially in the color cactus (it comes in 8 different colors!) To create this look, I curled my hair and then made a low slung ponytail with the velvet ponytail holder. You can even knot the tails of this pony binder to change up this look.
Plaid is the signature pattern for fall. An easy way to incorporate this trend is with a pop of plaid in your look. For instance, a stylish plaid headwrap! My little trick is that I like to make sure my hair has a little volume so I’ll tease the crown with a comb and some hairspray. Then I will smooth over the teasing and slip on a headwrap like this cute plaid option that also comes in blue and brown.
I am loving all of the pearl embellishments this season. They add such a ladylike touch to any look. Plus, they are another huge trend that will be perfect for holidays. For this look, I curled my hair and then took a piece of hair from each side and clipped them together in the back with these pearl barrettes. Use a mirror or a friend to make sure your clips are straight. I also love these black pearl and crystal barrettes.
Another great look for fall is anything embellished like this crystal comb. This hair accessory can be worn either with your hair down or up in an elegant bun. I had no problem with this comb staying put. If you wanted to make sure it does not slip out of your hair, you can apply a bit of hairspray or texture spray to your hair before putting it in.
There you have it! My favorite trendy fall hair accessories and some simple hairstyles. Which one is your favorite? Which trend do you love the most for fall?
