Happy New Year everyone! There were so many amazing things that happened last year and so many more that I am looking forward to in 2017! Here are a few highlights from 2016:
Laura Lily officially became an LLC last summer! It was such a proud and surreal moment to see my business package with “Laura Lily LLC” stamped across the cover.
Whenever I travel with my girlfriends I always have the best time. We end up laughing so hard our sides hurt and sharing memories that will last a lifetime. New York Fashion Week was one of those trips and this shot was like something straight out Sex and the City. As my fourth trip to Fashion Week, I can easily say that each one gets better and better.
Spending the summer poolside and getting to discover a hidden gem in Los Angeles- the Marina Del Rey Hotel.
Danny, Liz and I packed our bags last minute and headed up north for a little weekend road trip. We stopped in Solvang and the Hearst Castle before staying the night in Cambria. I cannot wait for our next road trip. I am thinking Monterey and Carmel with a stop in Napa for some wine tasting!
It has officially been one year since I moved into my place. Although it took a few months and a LOT of trips to Home Goods, I am happy to finally be done decorating. Now I can just change out the throw pillows and a few minor decor items with each new season and holiday! See my latest home tour here.
Palm Springs for my birthday. Such a fun weekend with the girls lounging around the pool and enjoying the hot summer sun. I created a travel guide on all the places I love to visit while I am there.
Our trip to the desert even got its own video. Watch it here.
For Liz’s birthday we took a trip to Santa Barbara. How we managed to fit 5 people and all our luggage in one car still amazes me. Between all of us, we must have taken a 1000 photos that weekend.
For this year, I am really looking forward to checking items off of my bucket list and traveling a lot more.
I absolutely love sharing my travel guides with all of you and this year is going to be full of them! From Kauai, Paso Robels, Boston, Monterey, Napa Valley, Carmel, Miami, somewhere in the Caribbean, and of course, Greece in May for my 29th Birthday, I’ll have plenty to write about!
Thank you again for reading and all your lovely comments and emails throughout the year. I truly do appreciate all of you and love creating inspiring content to share with all of you! I already know that 2017 is going to be the best year yet!
