As much as I love beautiful dresses, I am still on a budget. My trick for finding pieces from some of my favorite brands in a more affordable price range? Ebay. The story behind this particular dress is that I found it at BCBGMAXAZRIA months ago. But even on the clearance rack this dress was still almost $200. It was hard to see it sell out everywhere, but I patiently searched Ebay hoping to find it and eventually I did. I even convinced the seller to lower the price $30 to just $100. Still expensive, but I am willing to forgo daily runs to Starbucks and other miscellaneous items to spend a bit more on things I really love.
I wore it to an awards nominee brunch lately in West Hollywood. At least 10 people stopped to tell me how much they loved my outfit. I smiled not only because I love the dress too, but because the theory behind Laura Lily stood true- with a $12 H&M clutch, a $10 pair of clearance heels from Target, and a smile- you do not have to spend a fortune to look and feel fabulous 😉
