Saturday night I attended a fashion show in Newport that was literally on a yacht. Talk about putting on a show. The event was put together by Fashion Destination Group and included a nail bar, dinner, live music, multiple designers and mermaids! I wore the maxi cut-out dress I told you all about in my September Wish List. It was a hit! I did not have to worry about it flying up with the ocean breeze. I got to see Maria Menonous who is just as beautiful in person and get my photo on the red carpet- which is always fun. What do you think of my outfit?
It is so interesting to see the different styles that show up in runway shows on different sides of the country. For instance, New York had very structured fashion and here in southern California the models walk out with sunglasses and beachy waves.
Poi Spinners, aka Flame Throwers performing right next to the red carpet. Honestly, they were making me a bit nervous.
Some of my favorite outfits of the night included this Thai Nguyen dress.
This Marisa Kenson Collection dress was my absolute favorite of the night. I am such a sucker for sparkle and can definitely see myself wearing this out on the town!
