5 Easy Ways to Improve Your Life Right Now
For my first post of 2020, I wanted to start off with something exciting, achievable, and that will make you a happier person. New Year’s Resolutions do not have to be full of a bunch of fancy goals and expectations. Little things you do each day can have just as big of an impact and can be much easier to achieve. Therefore increasing your confidence. Here are a few easy ways to improve your life…
Clear Out the Clutter
Extra stuff around the house can clutter the mind. If a major cleanout of the entire house seems too overwhelming, take it in steps. I shared 10 easy tips to keeping an organized closet. Another source of inspiration I like to use is Marie Kondo’s method of cleaning out and organizing. She says if an item does not bring you joy, donate it. You will feel such a sense of relief once you start cleaning out and organizing yoiur space.
You can even earn some spare cash from those closet (and home clean outs!) I sell a ton of items I no longer wear on my Poshmark closet and use the extra money to buy new items that catch my fancy.
Give to Others
It is my mission to give back at least once every day. This can be in the form of a donation or even an act of kindness such as holidng the door, returning your cart, picking up one piece of trash, smiling at a stranger, letting them in your lane on the freeway. Imagine what the world would look like, if everyone gave back to others on a daily basis..
Phone a Friend
Sometimes all we need is a little time with friends. To laugh, let loose and share stories. I am also super energized after I’ve spent time with girlfriends. Even a simple phone call to catch up can do the trick and leave me feeling inspired and full of new ideas!
Start a New Hobby
Is there a sport or hobby you have always wanted to play but never have? It’s never too late. Last year I wanted to take tennis lessons, so I joined a local tennis club in my area via Meet Up. If you cannot find the club you are looking for, create one and invite others to join!
