I’ll write myself reminders or Brian and I will leave each other little notes on this stacked pad.
Since my set already had places for my pens, the extra pen holders made for lovely vases.
I keep these books on my desk for two reasons, one they are a pretty variety, and two, sometimes I pull them out for a little break. Derek’s book “Classy” is a pretty funny read, too.
I like to place pretty statements earrings around my desk as little decorations.
Finally, a place to store all of my current and favorite magazines! You could even consider getting multiple of these to organized various magazines, books, and files.
These silly photos are with my boyfriend, Brian. He placed it on my windshield the morning of my interview with a company I really wanted to work for. It immediately made me smile and put me at ease remembering that no matter what, I still have great things in my life to be grateful for. I got the job, and now this little photo strip is a good luck charm.
This particular photo is special because it is from whenI first started blogging 3 years ago. Brian took this photo back when neither of us had any idea how to work a DSLR camera. We got lucky and these photos came out beautifully. When I look at it, it reminds me how far we have come.
Today I am giving you another peek inside my home. This time with Cynthia Rowley’s new desk decor items from Staples! My desk is a special place. It is where Laura Lily comes alive and it is also where I gather a lot of inspiration for future eblog posts. Whether I am editing photos, writing to all of your, or reading my favorite blogs, it all happens from this one place. So it is only natural that I like to be surround by beautiful things. I had been searching for some time to find the perfect items to both decorate my desk and have a practical use. Upon first glance at Cynthia Rowyley’s collection for Staples, I immediately fell in love. Finally, a fashionable approach to otherwise boring office supplies. Who else would understand my want for a gold stapler other than Cynthia herself? I couldn’t decide between her glam gold and floral sets, so I mixed and matched a little from both and was very happy with the results. See all of her items here at www.staples.com/Cynthia-Rowley/.
I hope you all enjoyed a tour of my desk and all the meaning behind my decor. Looking forward to sharing many more lifestyle posts with you in the months to come! Thanks for reading and shop the items from this post below!
