Camping and Motorsports for the Powersports Palooza

Last month’s Powersports Palooza event took place in Attica, Indiana. It was an action-packed weekend riding a variety of Polaris vehicles with Ride Wild. And although there was camping and off-roading involved, I was not going to let a sense of style fall to the wayside.  I packed a variety of items from Backcountry that are both functional and stylish. The weather in Indiana fluctuates throughout the day so layers were an important factor in being comfortable. A few of my favorite clothing items included my Stoic baselayers.

The other items we made sure to bring were the trusty camping gear I ordered from Backcountry that we used during our trip to Temecula, California earlier this year. (You can see the full post on that experience here.)

Our Eureka tent sleeps six and is the perfect size to house ourselves, luggage, and any additional gear (helmets, boots, boxes.) The double sleeping bag I ordered is honestly a life-changer and manages to keep you cozy even when the weather drops to 40 degrees Fahrenheit in the evening.

One item in particular that I found I used more than anticipated was my Gigi Pip Monroe hat. It had been a last-minute addition to my Backcountry order. I was delightfully surprised by how much use (and compliments) I got on this accessory. Hats are not only great for shielding your face from the sun, but also for keeping your hair situated on those windier days.

Other items I found particularly useful while camping and traveling were my Hydro Flask water bottle, to make sure I was drinking plenty of water. (I aim to drink four full bottles a day.) And Kate’s Real Food bars that I am absolutely in love with and now have in my bag at all times.

As always, thank you for stopping by. Here’s to more adventures!
