Happy Tuesday everyone! Last week was a busy one. Friday afternoon I attended the Collective Conference to support my fellow bloggers. Afterwards there was a networking cocktail hour where I got to see some new and familiar faces. Honestly, sometimes I am so shy to talk to people, and other times I have no fear in the world. Funny how that happens. If you ever see me and want to say hi, please don’t hesitate. I would love to meet you and chat.
Saturday morning I got to shoot some fall looks. Two include this new suede moto jacket that I am obsessed with. I try not to use that word very much (obsessed), but literally. This jacket is everything. Saturday afternoon my sister, Kelly, came over. We shot a few fun projects and I finally got to try out my new Canon 5D Mark II camera!! You can see some of the looks we shot over on my Instagram.
Sunday was both a lazy and a productive day. I spent the entire day in my pjs and still managed to get a lot of items checked off my list. Finished two projects that have been on my list for weeks. Shot some home decor photos which I’ll be posting on the blog very soon!! And managed to write, edit photos for this blog post. Even though I wanted to be completely lazy and do nothing all day. I think I have the coffee to thank for that 🙂 Sometimes it is hard to find motivation. I think it stems from being go go go all the time. So when I finally have a day where I don’t actually have to do anything, being productive just isn’t high on my priority list. You feel me?
Here is another wear to work look for you all. I recently wore these same pants with a different look here. For this ensemble I draped this chic pink cropped jacket over a chiffon shirt. Comfortable work pants like these are always a good investment because they match with everything and some days I just do not feel like wearing a skirt or a dress.
Also, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month – every Thursday in October, Ann Taylor will be donating 10% of entire in-store purchases from 5 PM to close and all day on online purchases to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! Happy shopping!
