Palm Beach Style + What I Wore to My Trip to Palm Beach

The items in my closet had laid dormant for most of 2020 so imagine my excitement to pack for a trip in warm weather at an all-pink hotel! It was the most fun I have had getting dressed up in a very long time and I wanted to share my Palm Beach Style. There are also a few packing suggestions for all you future Palm Beachgoers at the end of this post.

My Palm Beach travel guide and The Colony hotel review will be live on Monday. In the meantime, you can find all of my favorite resort wear items on this page.

This pink dress arrived the day I was leaving and when I tried it on I knew it was perfect for a girls’ night out with Kier.

This dress is by a Brazilian brand called Farm Rio and sold at Anthropologie. This dress is a few years old so I am not able to link to it. However, my favorite sandals and straw bag are still available. These Gucci Marmont sandals are my favorite because they are both comfortable and stylish. They come in a variety of colors. I have them in black and white.

This is a two-piece set I’ve had for years, but I did manage to find a similar style blue and white playsuit here. I took it with me to Cabo San Lucas in 2019. That blog post features a great round-up of resort-style looks from that trip. Kier is wearing a polka dot romper linked here.

My pool outfit consisted of a kimono I bought from Asos ages ago. I found a similar blush pink option. , a Palm print swimsuit from Walmart and Amazon sunnies

This River Island kimono is an old favorite of mine. The playful print went so perfectly with the Palm Beach Decor.

Packing List for Palm Beach:

My biggest mistake packing was not packing warmer clothes, particularly a jacket, sweater, and pants as the temperature did drop to 65 degrees at night in January. The hotel provides bathrobes, but packing a pair of cozy PJs is always a good idea. Go ahead and pack your favorite designer handbags, jewelry, and shoes. Palm Beach is the place to see and be seen with blocks of designer stores and luxury boutique hotels. My tip is that I always pack my designer items in my carry on suitcase and wear any precious jewelry on the plane.

  • sunglasses
  • sunhat
  • jewelry
  • sandals for going out
  • sandals for walking around
  • a light sweater
  • light moto jacket for going out if visiting in the fall/winter
  • pool cover-up
  • swimsuit
  • anything pink!
