Moroccan Picnic with Atay Tea

All summer I’ve been dreaming of hosting a picnic on the beach for my friends. But not just any picnic… A Moroccan Picnic with ATAY Tea; a delicious Moroccan inspired tea that’s made right here in LA.

My vision for this gathering came to life on a beautiful day in Manhattan Beach. I wanted the setting to be full of colorful jewel tones and in traditional Moroccan fashion with a low table and cushions for guests to sit.  It is a tradition in Morocco to offer brewed tea to guests so as soon as everyone arrived they had a glass in hand.  My favorite ATAY Tea flavor is the Fresh Mint tea followed closely by the Spicy Lemon Ginger.

The health benefits of tea…

It’s known that green tea is packed with antioxidants and has many health benefits including aiding with weight loss, helping prevent cancer and improved brain function. ATAY goes a step further and uses fresh ingredients like mint and ginger. Their teas are always organic, vegan, and low calorie. They also use fair trade tea, non-GMO, kosher, gluten-free, and USDA organic ingredients.

We had a delicious Mediterranean dinner catered from Soom Soom which I will definitely be ordering from again sometime in the near future. Until then, I’ve stocked up on enough refreshing ATAY TEA to last me through the summer. I like to enjoy them at my desk while I am working or grab a bottle on the go. Each sip brings me back to this evening on the beach laughing with friends.

ATAY gives back…

Also, ATAY proudly supports the SOS Children’s Villages in Morocco where a portion of every beverage sold goes to support education programs so that children grow up healthy, educated and free to determine their own futures. It feels good to help give back when you grab a bottle!

As always, thank you for stopping by. I hope you are inspired to create your very own Moroccan picnic!
