Belted Vest

The menswear trend for woman is hit and miss for me. Sometimes I love it on other people, but when I try to wear it myself I just end up looking like a man. When I saw this Zara Waistcoat I was instantly intrigued. The sleek styling and waist tie detail are the perfect blend of sleek and sophisticated that I like to think of when styling menswear inspired pieces.

I kept the look basic black-how New York of me- and brought out my new (and favorite) Via Spiga sandals. This is the problem with walking into the shoe department at any time and especially during a sale. The studded detailing, leather craftsmanship and overall look of the shoe, how is a shoeaholic to resist? I was proud I lasted two weeks after rthe first time I laid eyes on them. Finally, the price dropped and I gave in. Now I plan to wear them a lot to get good use out of these beauties.
