Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Him and Her

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so it is time to start thinking about what to get your significant other. I have put together some fun and creative Valentine’s Day gift ideas for him and her…

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Him:

Useful Gifts

Maybe he’s been needing a new wallet or you notice he likes to collect watches. Wireless headphones are also a great option. All of these items are practical and he’ll think of you each time he uses them.

Gifts for His Inner Chef

If your man loves to grill, cook, chop, or roll, get him a gift that will ignite his inner chef. Get him a grill set if he loves to BBQ. If he loves sushi, get him a make-your-own sushi roll kit. Added bonus: you’ll get to watch him create a lovely meal for the two of you.  You can even get him a fun chef’s apron with a fun slogan like “Grill Master.” Etsy.com is a great place to get customized gifts by artisans.

Prepare a Romantic Evening

Men love to be romanced, too! Turn on his favorite music, prepare dinner, and set the mood with his favorite dessert, drinks, and candles. You can even write him a sweet card or a poem for him.

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Her

Flowers

Never underestimate the gift of flowers. Cliché or not, all women love flowers.  A dozen roses are always a winner. If you really want to impress her, get these from a florist as they’ll already be in a beautiful floral arrangement with a vase and likely better cared for than your local grocery store. Plus, they’ll already come in a vase. If you want to send her flowers, Bouqs or Only Roses makes beautiful floral displays. Even if you’re going to see her that evening, sending roses to her work will add a few extra brownie points.

Jewelry

Most women also love jewelry. A bracelet, a necklace, and earrings will do if you’re not comfortable getting her a ring. Set your budget and figure out what kind of jewelry she likes. Two great brands for beautiful, quality jewelry are Swarovski and Gorjana.  If your budget is a bit higher check out LeVian jewelry. They are known for their fine jewelry with chocolate diamonds (a personal favorite of mine.)

Prepare her a Bath

This option is really thoughtful. Light candles, pour her a glass of wine, throw in some rose petals, set a box of chocolates on the side and you’ll have yourself a very happy woman.  Who knows, she may even invite you to join her!

Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Both of You

Couples Massage

A gift you’ll both benefit from. Apps like Soothe allow you to schedule a massage right at home and within hours of when you’d like the appointment! You can schedule a couples massage and choose the gender of your masseuse, the type of massage you both would like, and the time length. Afterward, you can pop a bottle of champagne and enjoy already being at home. If you prefer to visit a spa, I highly recommend a gift certificate to Burke Williams. I have a membership there and it is great to get away and escape for the day to relax.

A Getaway

This is another gift you’ll both benefit from. If you’re in Southern California, I suggest the Westlake Village Inn. It’s comfortable, romantic and has lots of activities you’ll both enjoy. He can golf while you enjoy the spa. Afterward, you can have a romantic dinner at one of their three restaurants and wake up to their delicious room service.

There you have it. A few Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Him and Her! Also, make sure to check out my roundup of the best Valentine’s Day looks here.
