Currently packing for our annual trip to Paso Robles! Each year for the past 5 years, Brian and myself and a group of our friends spend a weekend wine tasting and relaxing in a city called Paso Robles. In Spanish it means “passing of the oaks.” We drive up Friday morning and stop for lunch in the adorable town of Solvang. It looks like something out of a Scandinavian story book and I feel like I am visiting the town of my ancestors (my mom is from Swedish descent.) We stop at a winery or two before we get to our adorable little rental house.
The next day we tour 4-5 wineries picking out bottles of our favorite wines. Saturday ends with more wine, a huge home cooked dinner, and a nice dip in the hot tub.
