Recently Elizabeth and I spend a morning on Rodeo Drive taking outfit photos. It is the perfect place- 9am no one around, perfect lighting and the most beautiful back drop we could ask for. It is my favorite place in the world to take outfit photos because each building is so perfect. There is not an ugly wall in sight. It was all smiles until we were asked by the security guard to stop taking photos. Apparently the store managers thought we were professional models taking photos in front of their stores. How flattering, but annoying. We politely apologized, agreed to stop, and then walked down a block and proceeded to take photos.
Everyday millions of tourists take photos along Rodeo Drive. However because we were posing and did not exactly look like your average tourist in our high heels, and polished outfits, we were called out. My suggest to you for taking outfit photos in places like this is a) take your photos quickly and get out of there before they catch on to you and b) if they catch you and you still have photos to take, speak whatever other language you know and act like you have no idea what the security guard is saying and hopefully they will leave you alone 😉
I’ve been feeling extra feminine lately. My love of scuba skater skirts and peplum has been rekindled and now I want them in every color. I’ve featured this mint version on the blog a few times (HERE and HERE), but I cannot believe I have only featured my beloved Ivanka Trump floral pumps on the blog twice now (previously HERE.)
PS- Have you gotten your tickets for Beauty Con LA yet? Hope to see you there!
