Metallic Jacquard Dress

My rule of thumb while shopping is that I always start at the clearance rack in any store I walk into. This way I see the cheapest items first and it makes other items in the store look expensive and this convinces me to wait until they go on sale. Also, If I score a bunch of great deals in the sale section, I am less likely to even walk through the full-prices section.

The other night I decided to stop by H&M to get a shirt I had seen on a fellow LA blogger Jenny from Margo & Me. Is that not the cutest freaking outfit ever!? Anyway, I loved the simple embellished white collared shirt she wore with the chunky knit sweater. And when I saw she only paid $5 for it, I literally went that night to H&M to test my luck. And thankfully they still had plenty of them for $5!

I also found this amazing metallic jacquard dress. Originally $49.50, I bought it for 50% off the clearance price… $10!!! SCORE! And look how perfectly it goes with my new collard shirt! I bought two of these just to make sure I always have one available if something happens to one of them. Now I am on the hunt for this same or similar shirt in black.
