Liberate Apparel

One of the best things about being a fashion blogger is finding brands that really move you.  Liberate Apparel is a great example of a brand whose ethics are incredible and whose necklace I am wearing in these photos. Two young ladies started this line because they love fashion and wanted to help others. All of the items that they create are made by women in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.  These women are taught job skills and given work to help them provide for their families. I love that this company gives back and wanted to give them proper recognition and congratulate them on a job well done!

Liberate Apparel Necklace

This beautiful necklace that I received from them is handmade by woman in Haiti out of ceramic and recycled cereal boxes. The boxes are stripped down and carefully wrapped to create these one-of-a-kind beads you see here.
