Heat Wave

This heat wave that we’re currently having here in LA is two things: freaky and fabulous. Fabulous because I get to look forward to the beach this weekend. Right smack in the middle of winter. Ah LA how I love you! And freaky because, if it’s this hot now, how is it going to be this summer?! I won’t worry about that right now. Instead, I’ll pull out some summer clothes and enjoy getting some sunshine on this fair skin of mine.

This turtleneck post is my tribute to all of you still stuck in freezing temperatures. And if this skirt looks familiar, that’s because it’s actually a dress I’ve worn before here and here. I found a similar style skirt here and a navy version here. This version is only $18!!

I cannot get enough of this bag. It is a Henri Bendel Uptown Satchel which I am obsessed with. I just got the bag in this violet color too, perfect for spring. Although the red version sold out, they just came out with a ton of other colors here and let me tell you, I want ALL OF THEM. The structure and shape of the bag are just soooo luxe, classic, ladylike,and chic.

A word about these tights- normally these shoes KILL my feet. Which is why you rarely see me wear them. But they do look awfully pretty in my closet. I tried out these KushyFoot tights that have a bit of padding on the bottom, and I was able to wear these shoes for one hour before I wanted to throw them off the ledge. That’s a record! So I guess I have these wonderful tights to thank for that.
