Spring Work Outfits

Spring is officially just a few weeks away so start pulling out your pinks, pastels, and florals! There are so many great ways to incorporate spring attire into your wardrobe so I thought I would great a round-up of all my favorite spring work outfits throughout the years starting with culotte pants. They are stylish and comfortable. The flare on this style of pants can get pretty crazy so I like to opt for a more slim flare style like this one. I own two pairs of culotte pants (the other pair seen here) and both are by the brand River Island so give them a try if you would like to try this pant style. Get more of this spring look here.

Blush Handbags:

Switch out your darker handbags for lighter spring hues like nude, blush, beige, and white! A useful tip for handbags: I would completely empty my current handbag and move everything into the bag I will be wearing for that day. That way you can avoid leaving anything behind or having the “I was wondering what happened to this!” moment.

Floral Pant Suits:

This floral pantsuit is from Ann Taylor a few years ago and still gets lots of use. What is great about a pant or skirt suit is that you can wear it three different ways, top and bottom together for a complete set, jacket only, or bottoms only. Here is how I styled just the pants in this post.

Asos is the BEST website to find floral suits. I have girlfriends that have even ordered men’s floral suits and gotten them altered to fit their female figures better.

Trench Coats

Trench coats to me will always be part of sophisticated style. The structure mixed with the tied waist and the rolled sleeve combines masculine and feminine forms all into one. Here are a few of my favorite spring trench coats in all colors of the rainbow:

Floral Print Tops

“Florals…for spring. Groundbreaking.”

It’s funny because it’s true. Yet, we never get enough. Pair your floral tops with a basic black pencil skirt or dress it up with a pop of color coat.

Pleated skirts:

I can never get enough of them. Ladylike, versatile and comfortable. For cooler days, throw on a sweater and belt it at the waist. On warmer days, opt for a sleeveless top and a pearl necklace. See how I styled my favorite pleated skirts here, here and here.

The Best Tip for Work Outfits

The best tip I can give you for dressing well for work is to plan your outfit out in advance, not when you are already running late in the morning. It is difficult to be creative with your wardrobe when you are rushed. I used to lay my outfit out the night before along with all my accessories, shoes, coat and handbag ready to go.
