The latest designer shoe craze is over the Valentino Velvet T-strap Booties (now 40% off!) I love the use of velvet fabric on a basic pointed toe pump and decided to save myself a few hundred dollars and make them for myself. Sole Society sells a very similar pump called the Nicola (which I love so much I also own the lace version!) Check out how I made them below!
Step 1: Study the picture and get a good idea where your felt will need to go.
Step 2: Gather your materials. For this project, you will need the following materials:
- Shoes (mine are from Sole Society here)
- Glue (tacky flexible glue works best)
- Felt- 2-3 pieces
- Scissors
- Marker
Step 3: Measure out and cut your felt. I experimented with my extra felt pieces before cutting the final version. The felt below will be used for one shoe.
Step 4: Test out your felt pieces and adjust where necessary.
Step 5: Place glue in shoe and attached felt pieces. Let dry. 
Ta-da! Your shoes are ready to enjoy!
