The Devil Wears Prada

Today’s outfit is in honor of my favorite movie The Devil Wears Prada. Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt did a fantastic job portraying their characters and have become some of my favorite actresses in the process. Andy Sach’s fashion transformation was exciting to watch. I enjoyed recreating some of her outfits from the film with more affordable items. (Someday I’ll include the Chanel pearl necklace- it is on my wish list!.)

I also wanted to share this post as the photos were taken with RG at my Alma Mater…UCLA. I think he captured the moments perfectly. I spent four years of my life on this campus. Every time I come back a flood of memories come back. Days spent with my closest friends, running to class, graduating. It reminds me how hard I worked and how far I have come in life. One of my resolutions this year is to reflect more. I am always hustling towards my next goal. Always running place to place to get things done. I need to remember to stop and look up every once in a while. Look back on all the accomplishments I have made and be proud.

I wanted to put a 2013 reflections blog post together, but honestly, I needed more than a few days to reflect on the last year. Looking back at blog photos has really helped me reminisce. So many dreams have come true this past year, so many moments that made me so happy it brought me to tears. Over the next few days I’ll get these moments down in writing to share with you. But for now, enjoy another awesome blog post with photos thanks to RG and a peek into my past life at UCLA. Happy New Year everyone.
