Walking downtown on 7th street on my way to the Ash Haute Couture trunk show at Brigade boutique, I felt like I was back in New York City and I loved every minute of it. I had seen Ash’s line previously on the runway at last year’s Style Fashion Week and remembered it being colorful and feminine. This years’s collection had the same vibrancy. I had the chance to meet Ash in person, she is such a sweetheart and I love that she stays true to her Indian roots.
It was my first time at Brigade and I must say, their selection is fantastic. They have a fix of well known designers such as Michael Kors and then they have other designers that I really love: Robert Rodriguez and Milly by Michelle (I cannot wait to visit her store in NYC this September.)
Of course it was great getting to see some of my favorite people (Doug and Steven you know who you are.) Steven finally took me to Bottega Louie for dinner. I felt like I had been picked up and plopped down into a Parisian pastry shop with rows of handmade desserts. This restaurant is now our little spot right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
