My first Christmas in the new house is going to be special. I’m looking forward to cooking all of my family’s favorite dishes and enjoying a cozy meal together.
This year marks my first Christmas at my new house! These decorations went up on November 1st as I wanted to enjoy them as long as possible this year. A few of these items I have had over the years including my flocked Christmas tree, reindeer, and the red velvet poinsettia garland. I did get to add a few items this year including a beautiful garland from Hearth and Hand and a matching wreath to hang on my door.
Today I finally get to reveal my newly installed closet with Closet Factory! You will notice that this space is mainly reserved for my shoes, handbags, and dresses as I have a larger wardrobe outside this closet that stores the rest of my clothes. I did have to downsize from my previous walk-in closet at my condo. How I managed is I donated a lot of items I had not worn in years, I store my out of season clothes in the garage. It was really important for me to be able to see everything because if I cannot see an item, I forget I have it and never wear it.
I realized most of us have skipped Thanksgiving and gone straight to Christmas this year.
