Euro Travels ✨ It’s been 4 days in France and today @kellyyazdi and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Ventimiglia, Italy. We were on the train to Monaco when we through, why not just keep going to Italy? It worked out perfectly as we didn’t get stopped to check our tickets on the way there AND there was a huge market going on in town and we picked up quite a few goodies. (See my stories.)

I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I’ve been in Europe. I won’t blame what the world through 2020-2023 because I traveled plenty during that time.( I went to Hawaii at least 5 times.) I just never had the guts to go to Europe on my own.

Now finally being here makes me so happy. Hearing all of the different languages and experiencing how different parts of the world live their lives peaks my curiosity and lust to try new things. (I’ll pick a 4 Euro cappuccino and pastry in a busy cafe in a small seaside Italian town over a Starbucks any day.)

I’m realizing that I haven’t been my true self in years because I’m still not exactly sure who that is. But I’m finding her. Each croissant and espresso I get closer to who I am and what I’m meant to be doing in my life. One of those things is traveling more to places I’ve never been. Wondering the streets of old towns and trying whatever comes my way.

A weekend spent wine tasting in Santa Ynez 🍷
@apotratz planned the entire weekend and it was perfect.
Each time we go we like to try new restaurants and wineries and then revisit old favorites.

Aaron is a member at @gaineyvineyard and @saarloosandsons so those are always on the list.

This time we spent a day in Los Alamos and it was incredible! Brunch at @skyviewlosalamos wine tasting in town ending with one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had at @bellslosalamos.

My Gluten-Free Linguini Bolognese Pasta Recipe 🍝
Save this post for a super quick and easy dinner that you can make in 20 minutes!

This pasta dish is one of my absolute favorites and you’d never know it’s Gluten-free 😉

Ingredients:
-@taste_republic cauliflower linguini noodles (available at @costco)
-24 oz marinara pasta sauce
-1 lb beef
-2 garlic gloves finaly grated
-1/2 tablespoon salt
-1/2 tsp black petter
-1/4 cup grated onion
1/3 cup chopped parsley or basil
-olive oil

Directions:
1. Boil water, add noodles. Stir frequently for 3 mintues. Drain.
2. Mix beef, onions, garlic, parsley, and seasonings in a large bowl
3. Heat olive oil in a sauce pan, add beef and brown.
4. Pour marinara sauce over the beef and mix well.
5. Pour bolognese sauce over linguini noodles and enjoy!
