Never in my life have I ever bought a pair of kitten heels…until this year. What changed? My perception of what they made me look like. Before this revelation that such a small heel can actually be sexy, I used to think of them as old lady shoes. Attempts at a heel without the discomfort.

More and more as I get older I miss the suburban neighborhoods of my youth. Growing up in Minnesota with big yards, trees that change with the seasons and quiet is something I really miss. Living in a big city like Los Angeles has its perks, but boy do I miss the peace and quiet that comes with the suburbs.
