2016 ✨ I am absolutely loving this trend!!

2016 was the height of my fashion blogging career. New York fashion week twice a year, I left my corporate career and took my influencer business full-time. My work was about capturing a beautiful outfit with a photo. I used to blog three times a week back then. Looking back, I wish I would’ve kept all these outfits. Even if they wouldn’t fit me now, they were some of my favorites.

From bare studs to my favorite backyard escape ✨
 This little shed went through a major transformation to become a multi-use space I can actually live in—gym days, extra office hours, cozy nights with friends, and even the perfect spot to fall asleep listening to the rain. ☔️

One of the biggest game changers was the flooring. I used @officialselectsurfaces SPC rigid core vinyl in the color Riverside, and it completely elevated the space. The warm, light vinyl flooring tone instantly brightened everything up, made the room feel larger, and was surprisingly DIY-friendly—I even installed over half of it myself. 🙋🏻‍♀️💃🏻

It’s still a work in progress, but I’m so proud of how far this sea shed has come. Proof that with a little vision (and a lot of learning), you really can transform anything.

I was lucky to grow up with a family who instilled in me what it means to be Persian—sharing stories of our grandparents and the generations before them. Persian culture, history, and that profound sense of belonging have always lived within me.

I am proud of my last name, Yazdi, rooted in the ancient city of Yazd—an enduring place in the heart of Iran, just like its people.

I know that if my grandmother and my father were alive today, they would be in the streets alongside the brave protesters, fighting for a free Iran. My grandmother would be shouting every unapologetic Persian curse word she ever taught me—the ones I still remember without hesitation.

The Aiken Hoofbeats Parade was a success! 🥳❤️🎄 When I first learned about a little town named Aiken and their annual haunted hoofbeats parade, I knew it was something that I wanted to do see for myself. Last year, I nearly rented a room at the @thewillcox Hotel and went with Lady just to see it in person.

This year to be able to get to experience it with new friends, and actually ride in the parade was a joy I cannot even express in words. It is incredible to think that one year ago when I moved on into my new house in Charleston on this day, all I had was a Christmas tree set up as I slept on the floor with Lady. But I didn’t care.
