What a relief, the weekend is here. But it is bittersweet. Sunday my boyfriend leaves for Africa for 3 weeks. Thankfully I’ll be busy with my best friend’s wedding in Minnesota and New York Fashion Week for a few of those days. But overall I am going to miss him a lot. He’s been getting really good at photography lately with his new camera. It will be fun to see the photos he comes home with. Until then, I just need to stay busy. So get ready for lots of blog posts and YouTube videos coming your way!
Some great news- the girls and I have officially booked our flights and hotels for New York Fashion Week! Literally 3 weeks until I fly out and I already want to start packing some of the outfits I have put together. I have decided that if there is one thing I should do while in NYC for the 5th time it is visiting Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment building and take outfit photos outside in my favorite tulle skirt. Sex and the City is my favorite TV show- I have watched all of the episodes from start to finish 3 times already and am on my 4th.

This is the perfect outfit for a wedding rehearsal dinner or bridal shower. The neutral tones and delicate accessories are pretty without being over done. I may try to replicate this pearl and crystal detailing on another top of mine. 
I am very proud of these photos and I will tell you why- I took them myself. Yes, I mean I literally set up my tripod and my camera, held a remote and took 100 pictures to get these 7 in focus and in a frame I like . It is not easy, but it gets easier over time. Sometimes you just cannot find a photographer and the outfit, lighting, and background are too good to miss.
