Today is the day I finally share my dining room reveal! Now, I have given you peeks inside my house here and there on Instagram (Follow the hashtag #LauraLilyHome for behind the scenes.) My first room reveal was the patio back in May and I had to wait a bit to finish a few other projects like this DIY hutch in the dining room I transformed with some paint and wallpaper.
Today marks the first segment of a new series I’d like to start with all of my do-it-yourself projects I’ve been working on both at my house and my condo. For the first DIY home decor segment I present you with the hutch I recently remodeled.
One of the big selling points of buying my home for me was all of the original and charming built-ins. My favorite being a floor to ceiling hutch in the dining room. The color, however, needed to be changed. It was the worst color brown you could imagine.

I am currently in the beginning stages of planning a bathroom remodel for my guest bathroom and what I realized while looking through photos is that it’s been 4 year’s since my bathroom remodel and I never shared that process! Maybe because it was anything but glamorous. Or perhaps because seeing the old photos reminded me of all the sleepless nights. It was a daunting process since it was the first thing I ever remodeled anything in my life. Looking back now, I learned so much from remodeling both my master bathroom and kitchen.
