I love the winter months where I get to cuddle up in my pajamas at home with a good book and drink hot tea. However, the downside to this particular season is that my skin becomes extremely dry. Dry to the point where if I don’t put on lotion as soon as I step foot outside the shower, my skin instantly feels dry and uncomfortable. I’m constantly on the lookout for products that will help hydrate my skin 24/7.

Lately, I’ve been reading product labels a bit more thoroughly. I like to use products with natural nutrients; especially ones that are good for dry skin such as oatmeal, honey, and shea butter.

I’ve used St. Ives products for years. When I heard they had teamed up with an NY-hot spot OatMeals to create the St. Ives Radiance Boost Bowl I was curious to try out the new products. As soon as I saw the words intensely hydrated, soft and smooth skin associated with the the St. Ives Nourish & Soothe Oatmeal and Shea Butter Lotion I was already reaching for the bottle. It contains the 100% natural moisturizers shea butter and glycerin and glides on your skin instantly making wrapping it in moisture.

I’ve always known that exfoliating is a great way to rid your body of dull skin cells. However, exfoliating creams are often too harsh or oily for me to use more than once a week. The St. Ives Nourished & Smooth Oatmeal Body Scrub, on the other hand, is made with 100 % natural exfoliates including: walnut shell, silica, oatmeal, honey and glycerin. It’s even gentle enough for me to use a few times a week without being too harsh.
