I have been a fan of bareMinerals products for years. I remember the first time my mom did my makeup when I was a teenager. It was before a high school dance and she used all bareMinerals products. I felt so beautiful that night and I have loved using this brand ever since. For this reason, I am very excited to partner with bareMinerals to try their new bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation.

bareSkin is a new tone-correcting mineral foundation and brightening serum all-in-one.  It is formulated with the bare minimum of ingredients without sacrificing benefits. This non-chemical foundation is SPF 20, hypoallergenic and includes no oil, no silicone, no water, no parabens, no fragrance. I have very dry, sensitive skin and am constantly looking for make-up and skin care items that improve my complexion and do not sting. So far, my skin has been perfectly okay with this foundation and the formula is very light weight I do not even notice that I have it on.

Key ingredients include:
– Vitamin C: a skin-brightening superpower known to fade existing dark spots and discoloration for more even-toned skin.
– Lilac Plant Stem Cells: known for exceptional healing abilities and antioxidant protection to protect skin from environmental stressors
– Titanium Dioxide: a non-chemical mineral sunscreen to protect from the sun.

The photo above is a before and after look. You can see the bit of redness I have in my skin on the left.  I used 4 drops for medium coverage. You can use more or less depending on your preference. I am into week 2 of using color Bare Shell 02 and interested to see what it does for my dark spots.

This foundation is available for only $29.90 and the Perfecting Face Brush for $28.  Both items are available at www.bareMinerals.com, Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, Sephora in JCPenny and Dillard’s. Try the foundation for yourself and let me know what you think! With 20 different shades I’m sure you’ll find your perfect match.
